David Allison

David Allison is admitted as a solicitor of High Court of
Hong Kong and as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme
Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
He has been involved in China and Hong Kong since the early
90’s, initially studying and working in mainland China and
later working as an associate in the IP department of one
of Hong Kong’s largest international law firms. He has also
worked in a range of intellectual property roles for both
national law firms and boutique IP practices in Australia.
David has practiced in all areas of intellectual property
law including copyright and patent disputes, enforcement of
rights in mainland China, drafting and advising on
commercial agreements and licensing, domain name and
internet disputes. His area of particular interest however,
is in the field of registration and prosecution of trade
marks both in Hong Kong and China.
David reads, speaks and writes Chinese (Mandarin).
